FWW Updates

1. Minutes from the Highglee LLC 2017 Annual Meeting can be found HERE

2. The Memorial Falls resolution was approved.

3. The implementation of a one-year grace period for delinquent capital call payments was also approved.

Swim Pond Updates

1. Middle Hancock, LLC has completed and paid for the repair of the outflow culvert at the Swim Pond. The repairman also made some adjustments to the upper swim pond roadway and created a small retention area to keep silt from going into the swim pond.

2. The Dock Committee received an estimate to repair the dock at the swim pond. It is the general consensus that the footings and frame of the existing dock are in reasonable condition and will last some years into the future, but reinforcing the support pipes, replacing the “X” cross support pipes and re-decking the top is needed.

Other Notable Updates

1. A list of notable family items at Highglee (made by Steve, Ann and John) can be found HERE.

2. Steve made a general maintenance checklist for Highglee. It can be found HERE.

3. The flag of New England is now flying at the Beaver Pond. This version of the flag, made by Ann and Steve, dates to the time of the Battle of Bunker Hill.

4. The cannon is turning 30 in 2018. Here's a photo Steve found of it's purchase in 1988 from Robert "Cal" Guiry.
